Venue: Blagoevgrad, University Center "Bachinovo"

The international conference Biomath 2015 will take place from 14th to 19th June 2015 at the University centre Bachinovo, Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, and will be hosted by the South-West University "N. Rilski"). Transport will be available from Sofia airport to the conference site on June 14th, Sunday, starting at 14:00. On Monday June 15th there will be another transport at 7:15 starting from the Hotel of the Academy Dom na Ucheniya to the conference venue.

Blagoevgrad

Blagoevgrad is the main city of Bulgarian Macedonia. The participants will have the unique possibility to visit this very special part of Bulgaria. As you may know Macedonia is a geographical and ethnical region of Europe - politically divided into three parts: FYROM (Former Yougoslavian Republic Of Macedonia), Greek Macedonia and Bulgarian part. Two interesting excursions will be organized -- one to Rila Monastery and one to the southern part of Bulgaria (city of Melnik).

Varosha, Blagoevgrads Old District

Varosha appeared in the 17th century in the foot of Delvinski hill. In the 17th and 18th centuries Varosha resembled a Turkish district and was the only residential part that featured Christian population.
