Venue: Blagoevgrad, University Center "Bachinovo"

The international conference Biomath 2016 will take place from 19th to 25th June 2016 at the University centre Bachinovo, Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, and will be hosted by the South-West University "N. Rilski"). Special transport will be available free of charge from Sofia airport to the conference site on June 19th, Sunday, starting at 14:30. On Monday June 20th there will be another free transport at 7:15 starting from the Hotel of the Academy Dom na Ucheniya to the conference venue (for participants who stay overnight in Sofia).

Trasportation at own cost can be booked via various companies. We recommend to participants of BIOMATH 2016 the company MATO ( http://mato.bg/), which we used in 2015. Please indicate that you are travelling to BIOMATH 2016, so that the driver takes you exactly to the venue of the conference. Please indicate if you will be paying by credit card to ensure that the driver has with him a portable credit card terminal. The cost of the trip varies from EUR69 to EUR85 depending on the car you select. The price is for the trip, that is, it is the same for one, two or three people. The driver will wait for you at the airport with a board with your name. The operational manager Mr Anton Antonov is available at +359-877011018 to assist in any time.

Blagoevgrad

Blagoevgrad is the main city of Bulgarian Macedonia. The participants will have the unique possibility to visit this very special part of Bulgaria. As you may know Macedonia is a geographical and ethnical region of Europe - politically divided into three parts: FYROM (Former Yougoslavian Republic Of Macedonia), Greek Macedonia and Bulgarian part. Two interesting excursions will be organized -- one to Rila Monastery and one to the western part of Bulgaria (city of Kyustendil).

Varosha, Blagoevgrads Old District

Varosha appeared in the 17th century in the foot of Delvinski hill. In the 17th and 18th centuries Varosha resembled a Turkish district and was the only residential part that featured Christian population.
