Conference Proceedings
All participants are invited to submit
papers for the publication in the Biomath 2018 Conference Proceedings. The manuscripts
for the proceedings should be submitted at the website of Texts in Biomathematics at
http://www.biomathforum.org/biomath/index.php/texts/index. The manuscripts are expected to be between 6 and 12 pages in length,
but deviations are possible when necessary. The manuscripts should be prepared in the style
BMCS.cls. A sample file is available here sample_proceedings.tex.
All manuscripts should communicate
original research and will be reviewed through the usual peer review process. The aim is for the Proceedings to appear as a 2018 publication. Hence,
the deadline for submission is 31 July 2018.
Articles from presentors (oral and/or poster) at BIOMATH 2018 are welcome for submission optionally in the following journals:
- Journal "BIOMATH",
Submission deadline 15 September 2018
-
Journal "Biomath Communications",
Submission deadline 15 September 2018
Special issue in another journal is currently being considered.
The manuscripts need to comply with journals' guidelines and style.
FAQ: Is it possible to submit both paper for the Conference Proceedings and article for any of the journals?
Answer: In principle, yes. However, (i) the article should cite the conference paper and (ii) the article should contain a substantial amount of new results not included in the Proceedings' paper to warrant its publication.
